Langhorne makes smooth transition

Willingboro native Crystal Langhorne hasn’t let change get the best of her.

Langhorne was traded from the WNBA’s Washington Mystics to the Seattle Storm in April and hasn’t skipped a beat.

The 6-foot-2 forward/center is averaging 12 points and 8.1 rebounds for the Storm (9-16) in 27.8 minutes per game. She’s started all 25 games for Seattle and is knocking down 57 percent of her shots from the field.

Now in her seventh WNBA season, the former University of Maryland star has career averages of 12.8 points and 7.2 rebounds.

She had a team-high 22 points and nine boards on Tuesday’s 89-71 loss to Phoenix.

Langhorne had spent her first six seasons with the Mystics and was traded for forward Tianna Hawkins and guard Bria Hartley.
